A dog owner put down St Bernard puppies after they attacked her. 

In one horrifying attack, the dogs smashed Rachel Adams, 59, to the ground, bit her, and dragged her outside. 

Last February, she paid £3,600 for Alan and Dave, two St Bernards. 

After being thrilled with the puppies, she and her husband Paul Adams, 53, realized they were antisocial with people and animals. 

The Oxford couple spent eight months training the dogs, but after the second assault, they had to put them down.

Rachel remarked, ‘We will never get over having to make that decision.  

Our hearts were broken, but we had no option. 

‘Both strikes were unexpected. Thinking about them chills me.
