Types of Service Dogs That Would Make Excellent Companions

Guide dogs, hearing dogs, and medical alert dogs are all examples of service dogs.

These dogs are trained to alert their owners in the event of a medical emergency.

Hearing dogs can be smaller and more autonomous than guide dogs, which must be athletic and trainable

The ADA allows any breed of dog to be a service dog.
